Artwork guidelines

What a press-ready file looks like. Files set up this way go straight to prepress; anything else is read against the specification first, and we contact you before the job is plated.

FormatsPress-ready PDF/X-1a preferred. Native InDesign or Illustrator packages, layered TIFF and PSD also accepted.

Resolution300 dpi at final size for images; 1200 dpi for bitmap line art and barcodes.

Bleed0.125" on every side, with live copy kept 0.25" inside the trim.

ColourCMYK only. RGB and unsupported Pantone builds are converted and flagged before plating.

FontsEmbedded or outlined. Supply the fonts with native packages.

Ink coverageUnder 300% total on coated stock, 260% on uncoated, so solids dry instead of setting off.
